the executive case

The Executive Case was issued a US Design Patent in January of 2013. The initial design concept for this case was created during September of 2011, after having received an iPad for a graduation gift and feeling as though there were no options for iPad cases on the market that featured a protective hardshell front and back cover and a locking backstand support!

The Executive Case was the first design that I created, and it subsequently became the first design that I patented (with The Gammo Group Case following immediately). This design concept, with all of its protective features, is a product for which the end users are children and young students, ages 3 to 18.

I realized that, while embarking upon this product design and product development process, I wanted to become an Industrial Designer who focused on the product design of accessories. Skills that I learned during the creation of The Executive Case included conducting market research, learning how to collaborate with prototyping and product development companies, and learning how to effectively communicate my design concept to graphic designers, engineers and potential investors.

I am currently looking for the design for The Executive Case to be licensed.
