form exploration

My experience in Form Studio enabled me to develop a rigorous, self-critical practice in creating generative and conceptual design. I have found that both generating forms from a template in addition to taking a more unfettered approach to generating forms are integral to my practice today.

Week 9: Form-Making with a Template

I constructed a 2-part template out of a piece of 9in x 12in tagboard, and I traced and cut out the resulting shapes that formed. My intent was to achieve variation within this specific constraint.
